Everyone wants to feel good, whether it is mentally or physically, but we are all at different stages in our lives and this has a huge impact our current goals. That being said, everyone has a different view on what their “fit” is… Maybe you’re a college student with access to a gym, but you’re having a hard time balancing school, a social life and “healthy living”… or you’re a new parent or have an overwhelming job and you feel lucky to sneak away for 10 minutes and squeeze a workout in without dogs, cats and kids crawling all over you, or someone asking “whats for dinner?” or when you plan to do this, that and the other thing… maybe you’re recovering from an injury or about to have surgery and you would just be happy to be fueling your body so it feels good. Whatever your situation I want you to know that your “FIT” is an ever changing aspect of your life and any step forward is a step in the right direction!

I have a CHALLENGE that I want to take on myself and would love the accountability of each and every one of you! I’m calling it the “Find Your Fit Give and Take Challenge.” Regardless of your current situation I think this challenge will work for anyone! After that comment you probably think I’m full of it! A challenge that ANYONE can do?! Yes, I truly believe anyone can complete this challenge. I’m not saying it is going to be easy, but YOU CAN DO IT!

I wanted to make a challenge that can be tailored to meet YOUR needs and YOUR goals! Since, as I said before no two people have the same goals or the same intentions!

So here it is… The object of this challenge is to commit yourself to your goals, 1 goal and 1 month at a time!

12 months, 12 goals… commit yourself for just 30 days (well okay 28 -31 days)

The glory of this challenge is that YOU are completely in control of your goals and as the months go by your future goals can ALWAYS change! Just because your list of 12 goals/ tasks may include running or no sweets in May or whatever you think it might be now that doesn’t mean you can’t change your mind before that month starts!

This challenge is ONE YEAR long. ONE year… it seems like an eternity, but just think about how quickly this past year went and think about what it would feel like to look back in one year and be able to reflect on all the things you’ve tried and accomplished and all the healthy changes you’ve made. It will only make you hungry for more!

So here is the deal! The Find Your Fit Give & Take Challenge entitles you to pick 12 goals, whether they include giving something up (such as sweets, pop/soda, etc) or taking on something (daily yoga, increasing step count, exercise, personal development, reading, etc). You then commit to that goal for the entire month that you designated for the goal (approximately 30 days)! When the next month rolls around you can add the new goal OR maybe throughout the month you realize that goal was worth a shot but it just isn’t for you, ie maybe yoga doesn’t make you feel the way you thought or you tried morning workouts but you’ve realized evenings work better for your schedule, then kick that idea to the curb and move on! If you gave it a good hard effort and dedicated yourself to that goal and it came up short then at least you tried and you know for a fact that it isn’t for you (OR maybe save it to try again later). We spend too much time in our lives wondering “what if”… so here is the chance to make yourself try new things, to expand your comfort zone and in the process find new daily routines that make you feel HAPPY. HEALTHY. FIT!

12 GOALS

12 MONTHS

1 YEAR OF FINDING YOUR FIT

There will be more info to come and I will be sharing my current 12 goals and some extra ideas in case you are having a hard time trying to decide where to start! I’ll provide a printable 1 page document that will allow you to keep track of how well you are sticking to your goals!

I plan for this challenge to start on February 1st, 2017 and go through January 31st, 2018… Yes, that is a long time, but regardless that time is going to pass so why not challenge yourself along the way!

“Happiness is neither virtue or pleasure nor this thing nor that, but simply growth. We are happy when we are growing”
